The Editor (thats me) would like to announce that Pastiche is now Quinns Of Thorpe Bay – It did change a few months ago , but i have been busy expanding my shop (Gardners) also in the Broadway. Nicki, the new owner of Quinns certainly has been busy! Her shop is now beautifully decorated inside and out and she has given new life to one of the Broadways favourite shops. Pop in when you can and see for yourself – Quinns has some fab new products to appeal to customers new and old. Well done Nicki!
Gardners opened on the 8th of March selling Farrow & ball, Sanderson ,Little Greene, and Paint & Paper Library paints and papers, and a large range of home accessories from Italy. They are also stockists for NEON luxury organics.
I have to say that the shop is simply gorgeous and is a credit to the efforts of the owners – it certainly has brightened up the Broadway.
Good Luck Gardners!
This busy gift shop that has traded for the last 11 years is on the market. Selling due to retirement, the business can be purchased as a going concern for a very reasonable sum we hear.
The selling agent is Amos estates who can be contacted 01268 742742.
This great little business will be snapped up soon for sure.

The current owner of Ciao has decided to sell for family reasons. The café, which is a favourite for many Thorpe Bay Broadway shoppers is continuing as “business as usual” while a friendly and suitable buyer is found.
We think it’s a marvellous opportunity for somebody to take on a great business and become an instant success.
So, will somebody who can make a fabulous cappuccino please buy Ciao and keep the Broadway suitably caffeinated at all times!
After months of speculation we can report that the old HSBC branch will be opening shortly as Gardner’s Paint & Paper. The shop will offer Farrow & Ball , Little Greene, Sanderson, and Paint & Paper library paints and papers. The shop will carry extensive stocks and mixing facilities and aims to give expert advice.
To complement the decorating side, Gardner’s will also offer some very exclusive home wares with many pieces exclusively imported from Venice.
Gardner’s tell us they hope to be open by the end of February. Good luck and welcome to Thorpe Bay Broadway!
